Internet Service Agreement

By using Digital Freedom's Internet access services, you agree to be bound by this agreement and to use the services in accordance with the terms herein.

I. Payment
If you elect to pay with a credit card, Digital Freedom will automatically bill your credit card when the next payment is due. Example, if you pay annually, an annual payment will automatically be charged to your credit card the following year. If you pay monthly, the monthly fee will automatically be charged each month.

Digital Freedom automatically deducts from, or charges to, your account the cost of the service plan you selected, at either a monthly or yearly interval, depending upon your selection. To prevent an automatic debit, you must either cancel your service, or change the account you wish to have billed before your next billing cycle. You may change billing methods at any time. To do so, please call Digital Freedom before your next payment is due and provide us with the information for the account you would like to have charged.

If you wish to dispute any charges, you must contact Digital Freedom within 30 days of the disputed charge. Any disputed charges more than 90 days old will not be refunded.

II. Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP)
Violations of the Acceptable Usage Policy include but are not exclusive to:

Maintaining a dialup connection using software of any type while you are not actively using the connection. 'Unlimited access' does not mean continuously connected (24 hrs). You are authorized to maintain a connection while physically at the computer that is connected to the service. You are not authorized to maintain a connection to Digital Freedom by using a program or selecting settings that will maintain a connection while you are away from your computer. Inactive connections will be dropped after 30 minutes.

Reselling services without Digital Freedoms written permission.

Using services for any activity which adversely affects the ability of other people or systems to use Digital Freedom or the Internet. Interference with or disruption of other network users, network services, or network equipment is prohibited. Users may not permit their network to be configured in such a way that gives a third party the capability to use their networking an illegal or inappropriate manner.

Static IP addresses will not be assigned to dial-up customers.

Violations of the Acceptable Usage policy can result in immediate termination of the account in question.

III. Notice of Liability for Long-Distance Charges
It is your responsibility to ensure that the selected access number is a local call. Digital Freedom will make every effort to assist you in selecting an access number that is a local phone call. We recommend that you contact your phone company and ask them if the dial-up number chosen is a local phone call. Digital Freedom is not responsible in any way for any long distance charges associated with Digital Freedom's internet access.

IV. Cancellation
Charges for dialup accounts are not prorated in the event of cancellation. When you call Digital Freedom to cancel a dialup account the account will become inactive as of the last day of the current charge period. You are responsible for all charges up to the end of the current period.
